This is what you can expect from us as a working student in the product management:
We want you to be successful in your studies. Therefore, you have flexible time management and can thus perfectly combine your studies with work. The only important thing for us is that you are available at least three days a week. We are currently one-day-a-week-to-the-office mode - we use the office time mostly to sync and exchange with the team but some employees work fully remotely so it can also be an option.
You will develop both professionally and personally and have the opportunity to gain insights into many parts of a start-up as part of the cross-functional product team.
You will experience a motivated, international team that fosters a start-up atmosphere with flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes.
Monthly mobility budget. Use a discounted VBB monthly pass, pay for trips with Uber, DB or FlixBus or rent a Swapfiets bike - how you use it is entirely up to you.
Your health is important to us - that's why you benefit from an Urban Sports Club membership.
Vacation on your birthday.
A light-flooded office in a central location in Moabit (8 minutes by subway to Zoo railway station and one S-Bahn station to the main railway station).
Work with purpose - what you do has a real impact on patients and healthcare professionals.
How you will make an impact as a working student in the product management:
You undertake manual user approved testing of bug fixes, backend and frontend tickets (mainly desktop; some element of mobile testing).
You record bugs, edge cases and other issues identified during testing and write related tickets; you prioritize tickets in collaboration with product managers.
You write test plans for features and product developments in collaboration with product managers.
You act as an active member of the product management team; you provide input in process optimization and support stakeholder feedback loop creation to optimize platform functionality.
You attend AGILE ceremonies and planning sessions.
What you will need to succeed as a working student in the product management:
You are into the development of software solutions and have first experience with manual testing of software.
You are currently enrolled at a university or business school (ideally in a business, computer science or natural sciences course or related subject).
You have high attention to detail to ensure software meets internal quality standards as well as acceptance criteria on tickets.
You are customer-centric in terms of software testing; you do not settle for simply testing acceptance criteria but also mimic the end user’s behaviour.
You work methodically and have a highly organized approach to testing tickets and workload prioritization.
You have an excellent command of the English language both in writing and speaking; German would be a plus.
Programming experience, preferred.

Recare is one of the leading digital startups in the German healthcare industry and on a mission to rethink healthcare through its platform for digital care coordination. We search, find and coordinate capacities so that healthcare actors have more time for their patients.
Within a very short period, Recare aggregated more than 620 acute and rehabilitation clinics as well as over 17,000 other service providers on its digital platform. Renowned hospitals and hospital groups such as Vivantes, Sana Kliniken AG, München Klinik, Hannover Medical School and Essen University Hospital use the innovative Recare platform. In addition, our customer base also encompasses other key players in the healthcare ecosystem including major health insurance companies like TK and Barmer.
Product use case rehabilitation:
When a patient needs to be transferred to a rehabilitation clinic after a hospital stay, hospital staff currently have to:
fax (yes, fax...) two forms to the patient's health insurance to ask whether the patient is eligible for rehabilitation.
find an available rehabilitation clinic offering the services the patient needs (generally done over the phone).
With our solution, hospital staff only need to import all the relevant information into our platform with the help of a software integration. They can communicate in a secure way (end-to-end encryption) directly with the patient's health insurance, which can also respond on the platform instead of having to wait for a fax. A search is started to find a relevant place in our network of rehabilitation clinics. Patient data and files are transparently and securely exchanged with the relevant parties along the way.
Rehabilitation is just one of our use cases, we also cover care, transport, medical supplies and hospital transfers. Our product combines a SaaS with a marketplace thereby automating time-intensive tasks and freeing up hospital staff’s time to focus on their patients rather than processes.
