(Lead) UX/UI Designer (Remote Possible)

RemoteGermany, Berlin, BerlinProduct

Job description

Recare is one of the leading digital startups in the German healthcare industry, on a mission to transform healthcare through its platform for digital care coordination. We search, find and coordinate service capacities so that hospitals can focus on their patients rather than processes. Within a very short time, Recare was able to onboard over 660 acute care and rehabilitation clinics as well as over 17,000 other service providers on its platform. Renowned hospitals and hospital groups such as Vivantes, Sana Kliniken AG, München Klinik, Hannover Medical School, and Essen University Hospital are among Recare's customers, as well as major health insurances such as TK, BKK, AOK and Barmer. In 2021 we made our first international expansion to France and launched a project/cooperation with the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP).

Product use case - Rehabilitation

When a patient requires rehabilitation after a hospital stay, hospital staff currently has to

  • fax forms to the patient's insurance to confirm the patient’s eligibility for rehabilitation.

  • find a place in a clinic offering the required rehabilitation services (generally done by calling providers and sending patient data via fax).

With Recare, hospital staff uploads all relevant patient information directly from the hospital’s information system. Once the patient has been created, the hospital can communicate and share information securely with all parties involved. A search is started to find a clinic place for the patient within Recare’s network of rehabilitation clinics.

Rehabilitation is just one of our use cases, we also cover care, transport, medical supplies and hospital transfers. Our product combines a SaaS with a marketplace thereby automating time-intensive tasks and freeing up hospital resources.
